Fanshawe College is offering a full-time and online Information Security Management (ISM) Graduate Certificate program scheduled to begin September 2010. The following two web-delivered courses are being offered through the School of Information Technology in September 2009.

Information Security INFO-6001 (4 hrs/wk)
This course will concentrate on the essential concepts of information security. The common vulnerabilities in computer and network systems and the methodology hackers use to exploit these systems will be examined.

Business Continuity Management INFO-6006 (3 hrs/wk)
This course will provide the necessary skills to identify essential business processes that require protection. Identifying vulnerabilities and how to implement counter measures to prevent and mitigate the risk of system failures will be covered. Credits from those courses will count towards completion of the ISM program.
